Raymond Lee Peltier.

Profile.
Raymond Lee Peltier is a
native of Evansville, Indiana and spent most of his youth in a small
community called Linton, Indiana. He graduated from Linton Stockton High
School in 1971 and enlisted in the United States Air Force the same
year. Raymond earned his degree as a Paralegal and retired from the Air
Force in July 1993 as a Law Office Manager. Raymond states that
his life experiences inspired him to become a songwriter.
If there's one thing that Raymond understands, it's the transforming
work of Christ. One to whom grace abounds, he is a testimony of
the new life that is given to the sinner who repents and to the prodigal
who returns. "I was a dead man walking," he says of his
life before Christ. Now Raymond is a new creation, empowered to
bring a message of hope, renewal, and faith through the writing of songs
God has given him to share with the world.

I'm Still
with You.
My body is gone but I'm always near.
I'm everything you feel, see or hear.
My spirit is free, but I'll never depart
As long as you keep me alive within your heart.
I'll never wonder out of your sight---
I'm the brightest star on a summer night.
I'll never be beyond your reach---
I'm the warm moist sand when you're at the beach.
Darling, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you can't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
And within your heart I long to stay.
When you start thinking there's no one to love you,
You can talk to me through the Lord above you.
I'll whisper my answer through the leaves on the trees
And you'll feel my presence in the soft summer breeze.
I'm the hot salty tears that flow when you weep
And the beautiful dreams that come while you sleep.
I'm the smile you see on a baby's face.
Just look at me Darling, and I'm everyplace!
Darling, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you can't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
And within your heart I long to stay.
Instrumental
Darling, please don't mourn for me
I'm still here, though you can't see.
I'm right by your side each night and day
And within your heart I long to stay.
I'm still with you!

Mother.
You carried me for many months
Just beneath your heart;
In preparation for the life
Your newborn child would start.
You watched over me,
As I grew in twelve short years,
And during my trials and troubles
You bathed my path with tears.
You helped me to understand
With values I hold dear;
And taught me how to face my doubts,
And overcome my fears.
Our life was closely knit
And to each other tied,
By the bond of your wonderful love
That would never be denied.
Now you have gone to be with Jesus
The Christ whom we both love.
My heart constantly misses you
As you worship with Him up above.

Everlasting Love.
Once upon
a time I said "I Do"
To the one I'd spend my life with that was you
And in all the years gone by
We've laughed and sometimes cried
And our everlasting love stayed strong and true
Hard times came and went along the way
We worked out all the problems day by day
For better or for worst
Both a blessing and a curse
Our everlasting love is here to stay
It's an everlasting love sent down from above
I know that God has guided you to me
An everlasting love on the wings of a snow-white dove
Our everlasting love is family
(Spoken) The first few years of marriage love is strong
(Sung) Makes it pretty easy to get along
Now after all these years we hold our memories so dear
Our everlasting love is like a song
Three children graced our lives each one a part of me and you
We taught 'em well and raised 'em right that's the best that we could do
In the years to come times they may get tough
The sea of life can be a little rough
Always keep the faith and things will turn out great
Take my hand that ought to be enough
It's an everlasting love sent down from above
I know that God has guided you to me
An everlasting love on the wings of a snow-white dove
Our everlasting love is family
An everlasting love on the wings of a snow-white dove
Our everlasting love...is family

The
Song Of Freedom
Freedom is a song we sing
A tune we all know well;
We have many rights and liberties
That some would willingly sell.
Freedom is a law we pass
A law to protest mankind;
It’s a policeman, a politician or a judge
It’s a lawyer with a loophole to find.
Freedom is a place in time
It’s like an early morning frost;
It’s a rules gift, it’s a slaves desire
It can’t be won or lost.
Freedom doesn’t come to faint of heart
And doesn’t stay very long;
To those who would rather listen
Then be the one to sing this song.
